To enjoy the amazing views in Gran Alacant, one of
the best choice is a walking route wich begins at the end of Scandinavian
Avenue. The end of this avenue is a
small roundabout where you can leave your car, but not on the asphalt, because
it´s a turning point for the bus.
You can easily find the beginning of the trail, which is
not complicated and doesn’t have slopes. You will take in the sights along the
entire way, and you will arrive to the Santa Pola lighthouse in 10 or 15
minutes.
In days with good visibility, you can see with
binoculars the city of Benidorm, and even further away. If you continue after
the lighthouse walking in the same direction, you will see Tabarca
Island ever closer.
If you lose the path in any moment, take as
a reference the lighthouse.
